Thailand, Pattaya, CIP - Football Exchange Trip 2009

Thailand Trip
The very first year St Gabriel's Football team is travelling oversea to play football and do CIP. With the intent to make community service as one anchor programme in the team, the management sets up to organize a CIP trip oversea every year so that the boys can "represent Singapore" to play football and see the world out of Singapore. We visited an orphanage in Pattaya, which coincidently is connected to Assumption Thailand, our brother school in Thailand! Our boys performed, interacted and even fed the toddlers as we were taught the basic necessities in life.
As for football, we played Chonburi Sports School, Thailand's Champion School. It was no shame when we were outplayed. That only made our boys more determine to work harder. With such a successful trip, the team looks forward to another CIP trip the following year!
